About Me

I’m 25 years old and a Jersey girl, born and bred. I’m talking Old Jersey here, in the sweet little Channel Islands.

I’m a life long bookworm; I live and breathe books and stories, and I want to share mine with the world.

I’m currently working on my first novel, which I am very excited about. It’s something I have wanted to do my whole life and just never got round to, always putting it off for a ‘some day.’ However, having started it this year, I can’t believe I waited so long. I’m so happy to be finally doing what I love and have always dreamed of.

I believe at the heart of every writer, is a reader. There is nothing I love more than soaking in a new story – whether it’s mine or another’s. I like to give all books a chance, but I’m a hopeless romantic to the core. I could read romance and chick lit books all day, every day. I also particularly enjoy YA (Even if I’m a little more A than Y!) and fantasy. As I work through my (never-ending!) TBR pile and my NetGalley shelf, I post reviews of my latest reads. I’m a massive nerd; a Potterhead, a Whovian and a Hunter. I am well and truly SHERlocked. Pokemon, Marvel, Star Wars, LOTR…I love it all, and I take fancy dress very seriously.

I also love penguins, – I really love penguins – shoes, pugs, quirky & vintage jewellery, pretty dresses, sunshine and theatre. I enjoy country music & old fashioned swing music. I could listen to Johnny Cash or Frank Sinatra all day. Being a hopeless romantic, I enjoy a good chick flick, and Tom Hanks is my perfect man.
