Love is an open door…except when it keeps slamming in your face.
Hopeless romantic Milly Rose has had her fair share of heartbreak. Obsessed with all things Disney, she refuses to give up on finding her Prince Charming – he’s out there somewhere, isn’t he?
When Milly is given a job to investigate the origins of an historical building in the village of Clovers Rest, she’s not sure what to expect. What she discovers takes her breath away – a beautiful real life Cinderella castle, complete with turrets, a magnificent drawbridge AND a very handsome owner…Cameron Heartstone.
As Milly and Cameron begin to unearth the secrets of Clover Castle, they can’t ignore the intense chemistry building between them. But they’ve both been hurt badly before. Can they take a big leap of faith and find their own happily-ever-after?

I have been itching to get my hands on this since it was announced, so huge hugs and kisses to the beauties over at Bookouture for providing me with a copy via NetGalley. Holly’s One Hundred Proposals and its Christmas Sequel were just so adorably dreamy, that I knew we were in for an extra special treat with Fairytale Beginnings.
Milly Rose was a perfect main character, and I instantly fell in love with her. She’s sweet, funny, quirky, passionate, and though she’s had her confidence and beliefs knocked down, she’s still a total romantic at heart. Then there’s the gorgeous Cameron. All broody and sexy with a kind of awkwardness about him in an adorkable way. The chemistry was instant between them, but with them both battling demons from the pasts and professional boundaries to consider, you never know how things are going to work out between them.
Being a Disney and fairytale fanatic, I adored the fairytale-ness of this book. The setting is simply amazing, and had me desperate to visit Clovers Rest. I loved the backstory of the castle and the Heartstone family, and how we unlocked the mysteries bit by bit as the story progressed. Everything was just too, too cute! I cannot praise this gorgeous book enough, it is sure to put a smile on our face.
PS. Holly has re-set my life goals and I am now determined to meet a man with a castle. With Disney-esque turrets. Can’t be too hard, right?!
AND, for extra excitement, Holly – being the seriously fantastical babe that she is – has donated a beautiful paperback copy of Fairytale Beginnings for one lucky winner in my Blogoversary giveaway! Clink the link below to enter the Rafflecopter giveaway.

Wow, Holly Martin’s been on my wish list for some time now and a PB of her latest is amazing. I am currently trying my young cousin all of 8 to read and buying fairy tales from Cinderella to snow white is my favorite activity these days. I want her to discover the magic of fairy tales like I did. Cinderella is an all time favorite and hope it becomes hers too.
